Blink Strike
Blink Strike for Phantom Assassin
Blink Strike for Stealth Assassin and Chaos Knight
• Blink Strike doesn't deal any damage if the target is an Allied unit.
• Blink Strike deals Normal damage which is reduced by the target's Armor and is blocked by Stout Shield, Vanguard and Kraken Shell.
• This is not blocked by Linken's Sphere.
• Unlike Blink, you cannot use this skill to evade incoming projectiles from attacks or spells.
• Blink strike does not affect siege units. Eg. Meat Wagons and Glaive Throwers
The Following Heroes Possess this Ability
Jugger's form of blink strike is his ultimate Omnislash. And being an ulti with a relatively long cool down. The following strategies will not include the usage of this skill. Thank you for understanding.
Blink Strike Distance
This however does NOT apply to the Chaos Knight. His blink strike does not increase in distance.
This skill is really 4 in 1. (Of course this really does not apply to jugger)
1. Chasing heroes
2. Escaping
3. Farming which comes from the initial damage.
4. Playing mind tricks. ( Very important )
Chasing
Let’s address the first issue of Chasing Opponents. As for the ordinary usage press "B" and then click on the hero really does not deserve much attention. However there is another way of chasing.
Imagine this case. You are chasing an opponent however he or she might be out of your current blink range. What do you do?
Azzaron coined this trick perfectly as "Blink Hopping". Very accurate I must say. It is really quite simple. Instead of blinking to the hero directly we first blink to an allied or enemy creep to first shorten the distance, then use whatever skills you might have.
Escaping.
It is true that blink strike isn't exactly blink heck it doesn't even have the same mechanics. But still what it does allow us to do is teleport for a short distance. This can be done either targeted at an enemy creep OR ally hero/creep. So the next time you turn and run for your life, maybe try to use blink more often instead of just depending on our awesome movement speed.
Here is a little video example of how that might look like.

Azzaron has almost made a .gif about the subject.
Farming
Farming with blink strike is very simple. It is just an instant boots to your damage. However what it allows you to do is hit a creep that is normally out of reach also it does save the possibility of being harassed. Simple blink and kill a creep then run back.
But keep in mind once you blink your +damage is calculated, THEN depending on your attack cooldown you land in a normal hit. That attack cooldown still allows some damage to be dealt to your targeted creep so watch for that.
Playing Mind Tricks
This is very important. It is mainly used by these two naughty hero and heroine.
Since they have the advantage of “unsight”. (sweet I made up a word ^_^)
Most skills such as blink all tell where the general direction of where the hero has gone, BUT as for these two heroes, once they blink it is almost impossible to tell where they have gone.
Another way to have fun with blink is a sudden change of direction. You have already seen a glimps of it in Azzaron’s picture for escaping with Blink, I have made a video interpretation of how that might look like. (I pissed off that Roofy pretty bad. ^_^)
